 คือการใช้ Present Participle หรือ verb ที่เติม ing และ Past Participle หรือที่เราเรียกกันว่า Verb ช่อง 3 มาทำหน้าที่เป็น Adjective 

ตัวอย่าง Adjective ที่เป็น Present Participle หรือ Past Participle ก็ได้แก่

กริยาบางตัว เป็นได้ทั้งสองอย่าง เช่น bored กับ boring , excited กับ exciting

I am bored. = ฉันรู้สึกเบื่อ                 He is boring. = เขาเป็นคนน่าเบื่อ

John is frightened by the lightening. He finds the lightening frightening.

ฟ้าผ่าทำให้จอห์นรู้สึกตกใจกลัว เขารู้สึกว่าฟ้าผ่าน่ากลัว

Traveling to another country is exciting. I am excited every time I go abroad.
