Adverbs คำกริยาวิเศษณ์

คือ คำที่ทำหน้าที่ขยายได้ทุกคำ ยกเว้นคำนามและสรรพนาม เนื่องจากคำที่ขยายคำนามหรือสรรพนามเป็นคำคุณศัพท์ (adjectives)

ตัวอย่าง

Adverbs ที่ขายคำกริยา            He drive a car carefully.   Carefully อย่างระมัดระวัง ขยาย drive ขับ

                                      Steve swims well.      Well เก่ง ขยาย swim ว่ายน้ำ

                             He bought a white shirt yesterday. Yesterday เมื่อวาน ขยาย bought ซื้อ

Adverbs ที่ขยายคำคุณศัพท์       She is very kind.

                                      He is really hungry.

                                      This pine is extremely delicious.

Adverb ที่ขายกรอยาวิเศษณ์       Tom drives very fast.

                                      Jenny gets up very early.

Adverb ที่ขยายประโยค            Fortunately, no one complained of me.

                                      Finally, I arrive the class on time.

Adverb ที่ขยายบุพบทวลี          You ought to go right to the end of the building.

                                      She went straight to the point.

5. กริยาวิเศษณ์บอกการตอบรับและปฏิเสธ เช่น yes……………., of course………………., surely…………………., no, not…………………, perhaps…………………..maybe …………………..

6. กริยาวิเศษณ์ทำหน้าที่เป็นคำแสดงคำถาม เช่น when………………., why………………, how………………, where……………..
